To Out There Singing VOICE PROGRAM

2023 has been a year of growth, connection, and creativity for the Out There Singing community. We worked with hundreds of amazing artists who have gone on to perform internationally on stage and screen.

​

We moved down to Toronto's Gay Village, and started making an impact, as we "came out" both as a business and as an advocate for trans rights and freedom of creative expression.

 

I am delighted to invite you to join Out There Singing as we expand into 2024 

 

The mission: Connection and Empowerment. I want to make sure you are locked and loaded with great technique, and that you are getting OUT THERE SINGING. 

​

You are INVITED to my new 6-month program, with enhanced support and TLC from me and your peers!

What's included:

  • 25 Personalized 1-1 Voice lessons over the course of 12 months.

  • A Personalized Vocal Warmup to set you up for Success!

  • Demo Consultation & Recording (in-person only)

  • Access to the growing VOCAL FREEDOM CLUB course catalogue.

  • Invitations to Group programs, Jams, & Masterclasses with supportive peers and exciting industry guests. 

  • Out There Singing is COMING OUT. I will invite you to join the new Facebook community. ​

  • Optional Video Send-ins to help keep you on track in your home rehearsal time.

The below information is for biweekly lessons, usually on a regular basis, but casual options are available.

 

Please inquire for biweekly information if that is what you are looking for.

In order to secure your weekly time slot & reduced rate:

  • This is a 12-lesson, 12-month commitment, with 30-days’ notice for discontinuation. 

  • Payments are automated, monthly through this portal, or Pay in Full. 

  • Lessons expire at the end of the 12-month period, though I will provide plenty of opportunity for make-up lessons (with 24 hours notice for cancellations), and options for suspension, on a case-by-case basis. 

  • PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND STUDIO POLICIES PRIOR TO CHECKOUT.

Hi, I'm Ocean

your friendly Toronto Voice Coach, Singer, & Certified Life Coach. 

After 32 years of life, and 20+ years in entertainment, I'm still an awkward queer kid from the prairies.

​

I spent years fitting into boxes: Opera, Musical Theatre, "playing straight.”

​

But I once wore my grandma's Tiffany Blue nightgown and danced to ABBA.

​

You are the dancing queen. Young and sweet.

​

People don't talk about the inner work required to stand in front of a room full of strangers and bear your soul. We set expectations on ourselves and other performers to get out of our heads and "just jump," Pretty ironic, when the same voice also tells us to "keep it down."

Take it from me: I sang on international stages, in musicals such as A Little Night Music, Spring Awakening, & Next to Normal. Inevitably, I crashed from over-exhaustion and took years away from performing to focus on my mental health.

Now my life is full of expression through art. I run a Film production company where I've created, written, and performed in QUEER work with folks from Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Finally, I began Out There Singing, with clients who captivate the hearts of hundreds of thousands of viewers with beautiful, authentic music. We offer singing lessons in-person in Toronto & Worldwide through video call.
