ABOUT
In the early 2000's, Ocean began their arts career as a vocalist in the Alberta Prairies. It has since taken them to England, and now Toronto, where they work in film & TV and run a Toronto singing school, Out There Singing, with the mission to train and empower queer voices.
They've written and performed in cabarets, plays, and musicals, and begun development on a made-for-TV musical with Juno Winner & Grammy Nominee Pablosky Rosales, from the Cuban band Cubanismo. The musical expresses Ocean's experience as a Trans person with repressive conservative roots.
A co-founder of Camp on Fire Productions, Ocean has written and produced several short films & a pilot, in collaboration with Canadian creative powerhouses from Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, & Star Trek.

Alongside their artistic career, Ocean is a qualified Toronto voice teacher, with a Master's Degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Surrey, UK. They provide singing lessons Toronto, all skill levels in Pop / Rock, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. They also provide online singing lessons in collaboration with Queer Your Voice and their collaborator, Jaspis, out of Belgium.
